November 7th 2012 - Day 62

Well sticking with the theme of the week, spent the morning doing Japanese revision, but this time actually getting some great help from the Sempai about how to get better. That and several other online sites designed for just such a purpose. And lunch met a new girl in the office (new to me anyway) as well as two others from before. But I somehow managed to mix up more meanings and made a fool of myself again. Really wish that woulds top happening.
In the afternoon however the day turned sour. I was given some photoshop work that was basically impossible to do. Or at least do according to the sempai's requests. Just touching up a photo, but in a really specific way that probably doesn't exist anyway. And when I tried to ask for help my brain turned to jelly, and wasn't helped by the sempai talking in my other ear saying I wasn't using the right way of asking. Not F@£$%!@ helpful thank you very much.
Real highlight of the day was seeing Dad for supper. In turns out that on the corner between both my office and his, is our favourite restaurant in Tokyo - Ninja Akasaka. As the name might imply, the whole place is ninja themed. The inside is built like an ancient ninja village, and the food has all sorts of strange concoctions from smoking eggs to ninja star crisps. And rounding the whole evening off with some magic tricks that are guaranteed to blow our tiny little minds to the moon and back. No small wonder why me and Dad love it so much. We enjoy having our tiny little minds blown and our stomachs filled.
