November 6th 2012 - Day 61

So, two new changes to the norm today. 1) The weather has taken a turn for the worst - freezing temperature, rain all day, rampant cold bug running around the office. Reminds me of home. And 2) I thought I had experienced Japanese rush hour. I thought that the tight spaces and hundreds of people per carriage were the worst of it. I could not have been more wrong. Because of delays on 4 seperate train lines, I ended up travelling to work in a cabin filled with so many people that you couldn't raise your arms to grab the railing (which led to me feeling like a prat when the train suddenly stopped), and when all those people want to get out at their stop, they sweep you up like a twig on a beach. Oh the Humanity.
Apart from that, not much out of the normal at the office. Spent all day doing Japanese practice tests online, and got taken to an interesting cafeteria type of restaurant for lunch. Where I miss heard the Japanese for Sumo and Hatsumoode (New year) and made an idiot of myself.  Bat all in good fun.
After work, before coming back home, I was invited by Dad to come say high to the people at his office when they were having a drink. Sadly I couldn't stay too long as I had stuff to get on with, but I was able to say Hi to some of them and get a hug from Dad. Then it was back on the train and taking a detour to pick up some cold medicine on the way home (like I said, it runs rampant in the office and I want none of that thank you).

Month Number 2 over with. After this I'll probably stop pointing out months and stuff except when it is significant.
