My day started straight away with a meeting with the organisers of next weeks event. I finally found out exactly what parts I would need to help with and what my jobs specifically would be, so thats a good sign. Then I had to leave pretty sharpish to get to todays tokusatsu action class. Surprising even myself, I seemed to do pretty well, especially when it came to kicks which is my absolutely weakest technique. When the class was over Review guy and I went out to lunch and talked about some ideas for an upcoming project that we are going to do, as well as talking about the latest in Tokusatsu, which was always interesting.
Then I went back to my place and spent most of the rest of the afternoon either getting a new haircut, or cleaning my apartment top to bottom. My girlfriend was coming for dinner, so I not only cleaned but also challenged myself to make my favourite meal - katsu don. For those who don't know, this involves deep-frying in oil, but I managed it without killing myself so that is a success. Plus I had a lovely evening with my Girlfriend before she had to go back home.
