June 14th 2013 - Day 277

The first job I get this morning was to come up with a snappy company slogan in English. Simple right? Wrong! And do you know why? No not because the sempai got involved, this job came from the other sempai, who had so many knit picky little requests that it made it impossible to actually think of anything clever. This wasn't to be mean or anything, he just doesn't speak English well enough to understand that its hard to come up with a good 5 word phrase.
The rest of the my brain seemed to be in power save mode while I did various kinds of revision. I actually feel bad about this because it made me a bit sluggish when it come to actually needing to get my self in gear. Like this evening, when instead of the usual work diary, the rest of the team and I went over to the studio to set up for an upcoming web seminar (and I thought they were done with those, prayers are answered.) And whats more is that because there wasn't much for us to do today, we got to go straight home afterwards.
Or rather in my case, straight on to Yakitori. As usually a thoroughly enjoyable evening, meeting new (more than slightly drunk) people, and stuffing my face with yummy food. Although I sort of lost track of what I had ordered and the numbers went a bit higher than usual, but hey we were celebrating my success last weekend, so its excused.
