This morning I went from feeling like I'm back at uni by doing Japanese practice, to feeling like I'm back at prep school, because my first job was a bunch of cutting and pasting to make hard copies of pamphlets. Can't say what they're about or anything more interesting, but I can say that it was actually a fun job - its been a while since I've tried to make something that wasn't a gunpla or doomed to fail as soon as I let go, so it was a fun bit of work to do.
And for lunch I went with not one, not two, but four people. Two guys (one of who would make my six foot brother look average height) and two girls. All very nice people, very friendly and chatty, but for some reason I was having a harder job of relaxing this time around. Probably just because of the large crowd.
Afternoon was back to photoshopping while receiving Japanese and or half finished instructions. But it wasn't too bad because they were easy jobs that I polished off quickly (until the sempai started getting picky) and could use some of the middle time to try and learn a bit more Japanese.
And, I can honestly say, that today I was not the earliest to leave the office. Before, despite my intentions of trying to stick it out as late as possible, the sempai let me go home earlier than everyone else and its always made me feel a bit bad. But now there are some part timers in the office who leave even earlier than I ever have. Not only that, but on my way out, I ran into one of the full timers who had left slightly ahead of me i.e. only early enough to call the elevator first. Still counts.
