After the thorough exhaustion brought on by the last couple of days, I was looking forward to not having to be up early today and just take it easy. Unfortunately my body clock has been broken since I was a child and as such am incapable of sleeping in. Such a cruel fate.
Although this turned out not to be too bad today, because at around 8.45, a man from NHK tv came around to try and talk to me about some new contract or something - I didn't fully understand what he meant and lets face it, it wasn't even 9 a.m. yet. Who the hell tries to sell stuff before 9 a.m. on a sunday????? But he was a very nice man who said he'd come back with an english copy of the form, so at least he was understanding. Suspicious, but understanding.
I then proceeded to get on with the usual weekend jobs early on. Firstly was cleaning the apartment, because the dust KEEPS COMING BACK!!!!!!!! Then I had to go for a food run to stock up for the week. Then I headed to the nearby department store, stopping in at the Gachapon hall on the way and helping a couple of stuck american's get out of a pinch with the machines. I had to buy a jar for the cheerios from home and get something to help battle the hordes of evil dust bunnies, and on the way back I stopped to check out some of the anime merchandise in Yodobashi Camera (the mega store I'm sure I've talked about on here before).
The rest of the day was spent catching up on Anime and laundry. Once again nothing too thrilling, but after the last couple of days what did you expect.
