October 15th 2012 - Day 39

Well It took a while but it finally looks like my work days are starting to get a bit more interesting. Although for starters I had to redo that work diary entry I deleted, which wasn't funny, but after that I got to take part in the design teams meeting. Now there are two reasons why I can't say anything about what happened in the meeting - 1) it falls into the work confidence I'm always talking about, and 2) I have no clue what in gods earth was being said anyway. Sadly My japanese isn't nearly god enough to keep up with a fast talking man from Osaka, and chances are I wouldn't have understood what was being said even if it had been said in English. Fortunately the sempai just explained the details later, but at least I tried to take part so for a first attempt I'd say it was worth it.
And for lunch two people who I'd met at the Naiteishiki party took me out. Now when it comes to Japan and food, I'll try and eat anything you put in front of me as long as you don't tell me what it is. You name it, I'll have eaten in, Japanese food is just that versatile. So imagine my surprise at being take for Mexican food!!! First time ever having tacos and....actually it wasn't that bad, though still shocking to consider having it in Japan of all places.
Back to the office where the afternoon was spent doing design work (that I can't talk about on here) and having photoshop loaded onto my work computer, after waiting a week for the company's tech guys to sort it out. So hopefully that means I'll be doing a lot more of the fun stuff from now on, and only half as much Japanese practice in between.
