Need a bit of back story for today - When I moved into this apartment all those years ago, I got a spare bed for when quests and relatives stay over. Haven't used that in ages, and my wife and I decided we need more space, so we've been trying to sell it. One of our friends said they would take it, so that is what we did today - got ourselves a bit rental car, packed up the bed, and took it to the friend's house. Although he didn't have much time for anything else, it was nice to get out of the apartment and go to a less-than-familiar bit of town. On the way back, we also stopped off for a nice lunch out.
The rest of the day was a bit of a blur - somehow that drive and the heavy lifting totally wiped me out, so after a nap in the afternoon, I mostly just did some Japanese revision and then sat down for a nice movie with my wife.
