This first day back after a long break is always hard, but this time around it was an especially bad ordeal. In a nut shell, I got given a mountain to do with more coming in, made a few too many mistakes because of the panic, and it all got to be a bit much all at once. Luckily I had my wife here to support me and comfort me when it had calmed down and I had finished for the day, late in the evening.
