Well, after getting back late last night, I somehow woke up at stupid o'clock today. And since last week's run half paralysed me for days, I thought I should go for another one today. I don't think through my plans very well. Plus I stupidly forgot my rule of never trust google maps and ended up running further and longer than intended. And I had to double back via a super market to get something for breakfast. So I started today on a high note.
After breakfast and regaining my composure, I went out to Nitori: yes again, but just bare with me. The first set of shelves I bought worked so well I decided to get a second and shuffle the ones I currently have around. This doubled the display and usable space in my apartment, so It was well worth it. All the while letting the laundry run so that I could get that out of the way.
The rest of the afternoon wasn't very fascinating. I went to the big super market and got food for the next week (probably going to become the routine now). I caught up on emails and tried (and failed) to find the naiteisha from last night on facebook. And I spent a large amount of time cleaning the apartment. For the life of me I can not figure out where the hell all the dust in here is coming from. Its like dealing with dog tracks on a stone floor - no matter how clean you scrub it, the paw prints are replaced within an hour.
In the evening I had a meeting with my estate agent. I've been having a bit of worry about the BS TV, for those of you who don't remember, thats the good TV channels that you have to pay for. And I'm not sure I have been paying for them. Well we met at a nearby restaurant only an hour ago, and he looked over the paperwork and told me simply that I didn't have anything to worry about. Even though we had a good meal together, I still felt bad about dragging him all the way across Tokyo for what turned out to be a simple issue. But fortunately he is a really nice guy and didn't mind. He was the one who got in contact with me this week, just to check I was doing ok. Talk about a stand up dude.
